Knife collecting can be a very expensive hobby and for a beginner. There can be some speculation on exactly what kind or kinds of knives you want to invest your money in. If one was to start a collection spending 50 per dollars per knife in the aspiration to try different locking mechanisms, blade steels, blade shapes, handle materials, so on and so forth, you could spend a huge fortune finding exactly what kind of knives it is that you prefer and would like to continue collecting. However, if one was able to spend 6 or 8 dollars to experiment and see exactly what features they prefer on an knife that may be more particle and worth the investment.
