The very first SanRenMu knife I ever bought was the SanRenMu 704, a small, lightweight liner lock knife that caught my interest because of it's clean lines and fine blade shape.  I'd already purchased a few other knives from Navy, and I was looking for something slightly smaller, something that would fit well in my pocket and comfortably ride in my jeans.

The SanRenMu 704 not only met all my expectations, but absolutely surprised me in just how good of a knife it was, in a completely unexpected way - it is the fastest deploying non-assisted pocket knife I've ever owned.

When I first acquired this pocket knife, I was suitably impressed by many features, and the overall excellent quality of the knife.  It was well machined and well made.  The blade was perfectly symmetrical and the grind lines even and straight.  The handle was comfortable and well finished.  The lock up, the most important part of a folding knife, was extremely solid and perfectly designed.  All these things gave me great confidence in the quality of manufacturing and design that went in to this knife.

The real surprised was when I started to use this knife.  Many pocket knives can be opened with one hand, using a flip of the thumb or wrist to extend the blade.  Some of these knives even go so far as to provide a small spring to assist in the opening of the pocket knife.

I can say that without a doubt my SanRenMu 704 is the fastest opening pocket knife I own, faster than even some of my MUCH more expensive, spring assisted knives.

It takes only very light thumb pressure to open the knife, and it simply snaps open and locks up solid as a rock, assuring me that whenever I truly need my knife, I'm only a moment away from it being in my hand, ready to assist me in whatever task I require.  It's simply wonderful.  In fact, it's so wonderful I've purchased multiple extra knives of this model and given them away to my friends and family (five, thus far) and every person that's received one has been duly impressed with the quality and speed of this knife.

I wholeheartedly recommend the SanRenMu 704, in any variation you wish to purchase it in.  It's just fantastic.
