Hi, I just want to update on my last artical on june 17 2011 . I have just received my new Ganzo G704 and I have to tell you that  this is one hell of a knife for the money, its the newer model with the 4mm blade. I would put this knife up there with any Spyderco or Benchmade knife for its build quility and is better than some of the other big brand name knives I own.

The finish on this one is perfect, solid as a rock, zero blade play and very easily deployed. Try one because for the money you cant go wrong.I am now awaiting delivery of a Navy K 631 and will give my opinion on this when it arrives

I received my newer version of the G704, but unfortunately the knife was shipped defective, with the blade closing too deep in the handle and the edge of the blade hitting up against pillar, (spacer), and nicking the blade edge. Have sent exduct closeup photos of the problem, I am hoping they will send along a replacement knife, as I love this new version. Another thing is the blade width, my new G704 has the larger thumbstuds but the blade width is the same as my older versions? Regards Gary Woodard

Exduct is has sent me a replacement for my G704. Two days after I notified them of the defect and supplied some photos, the new knife has been shiipped. Benchmade had my knife for 9 weeks. Excellent Customer Service!!!!!!!
