when G707-2 will be available? in my opinion it's more attractive in dark colors.

  • Exduct Reply: G707-2 is mirror color.We will think to add it in future,now you could only purchase G707-1

very nice knife. took mine apart and found a lot of grit in and around the pivot point and the spring area. once cleaned and lubricated it works perfectly. The blade now centers fine. The blade did need sharpening as venus staded in his comment below. I was surprised as any other Ganzo knife I bought came razor sharp. All in all a good knife for the money :-)

received mine.

pros:
- opens smoothly, locks firmly, no bladeplay at all;
- release button is deep, so knife will not open accidentally.
cons:
- dull and inaccurately sharpened;
- blade is bent, asymmetric and not centered. :(

this sad, but the quality of ganzo knives falls

I have same impressions as venus - good automatic action, no blade play, the handle finish is good without any sharp edges and gaps between wood inlays. However, sadly the blade is noticeably bent. I'm afraid the whole series may have this defect, if other people reported it also ...

I have checked my knife and I must review my last comment. I checked the liners and neither are perfectly flat which will off center the blade and yes there is a bend in the blade although mine is slight, I wonder if thy blades were bent after production in an effort to try to centralise them. It is hard to believe that the blades were produced this way knowing the quality of Ganzo knives

I received mine. Blade is not bent. It is the button spring, that pushes the blade in closed position. If the central pivot is turned tight the blade will be at center. And I had my knife taken apart and the blade measured- mine is straight.
