Part I

Wow! Enlan really hit a home-run with this knife! I just got mine this morning and it is flawless. What a beautiful knife! The fit and finish are absolutely perfect. Not one blemish on this knife.

The hollow ground blade is sharp and perfectly centered. There is no blade-play in the locked position, whatsoever. It opens and closes very smoothly.

The green and black micarta scales are amazing. They feel great in my hand, as does the overall shape of the handle. Even the full steel liners are polished and mate perfectly with the scales.

Part II

Every millimeter of this knife is smooth to the touch and screams quality! If this was a "Benchmade" knife you would easily expect to pay 10 times as much.

For anyone thinking about buying one of these knives, I say: get one while you can -- you'll be glad you did!

Thank you Enlan for making such a superb product! And thank you, also, Exduct and Jacky for offering this fine knife. Once again I am a very happy customer.

VERY, VERY pleased. Textured black/green micarta scales are MUCH nicer in appearance & feel than the little pictures(above) show. Equal to my fancy scaled Benchmade Rift in upscale appearance. Axis-type lock is almost Benchmade smooth for 1/5th the dollars. Blade is hyper-sharp even by Enlan's high standards. Clip is also prettier in hand than in the pictures show. Skimpy gimping, but not horrible. If all the ELO4MCT's come as good as mine did, it's a no joke MUST HAVE for every knife person. Buy now, they're bound to go up in price, if Enlan can keep up this unbelievable level of quality.

Thanks SDR :) Enlan would sell more knives if they used quality pictures like SDR's. They really tell the whole story. Another buyer's point: ELO4MCT steel liners have been slotted out in several places, looks like to to save weight. This is the first time I've seen this practice on an Enlan or any of the new Chinese folders, and I got a dozen of them in the last few months.

The steel liners of the Enlan EL01 and the EL05 are drilled for weight reducing too.

Enlan, your workers did a great job on this one. Give them all a pay raise and my compliments.

However, there is a problem with the axis-lock. It does not fix blade hard.
When the knife is open, axis closes at an angle:

I think I could fix it, but I have no tools to disassemble the knife. Axial screw is nonstandard.

I hope Exduct will help me solve the problem.

When I saw your problem I got my knife and looked at it to make a comparison. I noticed that mine also locks at a slight angle, but not as much as yours.

However, with mine I can move the locking pin and make it straight. I also noticed that when I snap the blade open with more force by flicking it that it locks more evenly than when I just open slowly.

In my case, at least, I think that it is just very tight and will loosen up and lock more evenly over time?

Perhaps that is all that is wrong with your knife; just very tight? Keep us posted and let us know how this is resolved.

Cheers!

I used a round nose pliers to remove the pivot screw of mine.

I have just received this knife and the EL-06. Both are EXCELLENT quality knives (for a "brand" knife you could easily expect to pay 50-60 USD).

But PLEASE, sell the special tool for Enlan knives so we can clean and adjust the EL-01, EL-02, EL-04 and EL-06. PLEASEEEE!!!!!

Got it today in my mailbox. All I can say is, that it's one nice piece of knife.

Axis lock is nicely centered in this latest version.
Also blade is centered very well, and of course there is no bladeplay.

Thumbs up!
